In 2000 the Windsor Alumni Association awarded it first $200 scholarship to a
deserving 2000 graduate to further their education. The following year (2001) there were two (2) graduates awarded $500 each.
The fund still continued to prosper and in 2002 the Association was proud and very pleased to award ten (10) $500 scholarships
at the June 29th graduation. By June of 2007 the Association was able to award ten (10) $700 scholarships. As of June 2008
the Windsor Alumni Association has awarded $47,900 in scholarships.
The Windsor Alumni Association pursues a number of fund raising activities, the biggest
being our annual dinner/banquet which generally occurs in September. Mostly though, the scholarship fund is supported by the
generosity of the alumni, staff and the Windsor community. Local businesses have proven to be generous sponsors of our annual
banquet.
A five (5) member Scholarship Committee, consisting of a Chairperson appointed
by the Board of Directors, two (2) members from the Board of Directors and two (2) other members appointed by the Association
